The story of Limited Edition Jewels begins with one word - Passion. I’ve always been a creative person. Ever since I can remember, I would design Barbie doll clothes from rubber bands and craft paper. I told myself and everyone that would listen that I wanted to be a fashion designer - then I realized I couldn’t draw or sew. It was around that time that one of my cousins had a plastic bead stringing kit. Every time I went over to her house, I just had to make something new. From then on, whenever my parents would get me presents, they would always include one of the toy bead stringing kits.

The magic really began when I was 14; a friend invited my sister and me to her house for a jewelry making party. We were sold! After the party, we immediately went to the craft store and purchased some basic materials. We practiced at home and we got better and better. As these stories often go, once people saw our jewelry they began to ask us if we sold our jewelry. It was as if something clicked inside of us and we began to look for places to sell our jewelry to. At 15, a concierge business approached us about joining their network.  We began to sell with them and at local high schools - our jewelry was a big hit!

Fast forward to today, my sister and I (now 22) run Limited Edition Jewels together and I’m so grateful that we’re able to spend our time together doing something that we truly love to do. We live in the DMV area (DC Metropolitan). Our brand is really about the “every woman”. From the busy mom to the high school student, from boardroom meetings to elegant art galas, we have something for everyone.

A true creative to the core, I can pull design inspiration from anyone and anything. I love to read and there are times that a character or a scene in a book will inspire a new design. Patterns, shapes, music - all of these elements can stir something inside of me. Sometimes, I just close my eyes and a new piece just comes to me and then there are times that I base my design on what I think a specific person would love. And, of course, my mood plays a huge role in the creation of my designs.

I love working with precious stones, premium quality metals, and other fun materials. It’s almost as if each new element has its own story to tell and I get to unlock it. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted with love. I really love that our designs will become a part of some of our customers’ happiest moments.

Things move quickly here at Limited Edition Jewels! We’re always coming up with new designs and sometimes we offer sales whose proceeds go to the ASPCA or cancer research. The best way to keep up with us is to follow us on Instagram or read the blog. If you love what you see and you want more of it, we invite you to enroll in the Limited Edition Jewels Subscription Box; it’s a fun way to get a range of beautiful jewelry.

When I’m not designing new jewelry, you can find me spending time with my family. We’re all really close. I’m so fortunate to have such caring and supportive parents; they have always believed in me. Of course, my sister runs the business with me so we spend a lot of time together, but we’re also very close with our brother. Last, but not least is my adorable Yorkshire terrier Jamie. She’s my best friend in the whole world.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know Limited Edition Jewels. We hope you enjoy our gorgeous jewelry designs as much as we enjoy creating them for you!
